Looking forward to new Naim DAC

I am waiting for the new Naim DAC to try before I decide on a purchase. Naim or Hugo are the two I'll go for, and after just reading a Hugo TT review in Stereophile just now, that model sounds great. In my heart I want Naim, time will tell. These are only my thoughts, the debate between the two is pretty much settled til the Naim unit is unveiled.

Perhaps the only glimmer of hope is the next gas station on this lonely/deserted highway - CES 2016 in January.

In my heart I want Naim to vanquish but realistically the Chord Elec have stolen a march by a hefty lead and so it is better to go for a Hugo TT. I've arrived late to the party but on the weekend I reconnected a Naim DAC to the main source in my system - it sounded more like a Sony Mp3 player and had to switch back to a Chord DAC the next day. So sad for the crushing demise
