NAP DR upgrade prices?

Folks,
are the prices for upgrades to DR known already?
thanks,
ralf
From a previous thread the upgrade prices were given in the UK as
250 - £995
300 - £1,495
500 - £3,500
I couldn't see the 200 mentioned though.
rayleigh hi-hi are quoting 4200 for a 500 in their november newletter, the others are the same

I think £4200 for the 500 includes a service.
I think for the upgrade of the NAP 500 I would like to live in the UK........, not sure if it's done for us just as the exchange course price...
Having home demmed a 250 non DR and then bought a 250 DR I think the upgrade fee is great VFM considering the improvements it brings.
Great- many thanks!
It seems that some of us were previously erroneously quoted ex-VAT prices in the UK.
Thanks John - that pushes up the 500 cost quite significantly - well 20% ![]()
Although it is a tad early I might consider the DR upgrade and service on my 300. I'm sure that Naim would tell me if it was not needed and charge the lower price anyway ![]()
Good news for me in that I have been informed that my NAP is on the list for a DR upgrade and service.
i just hope the DR upgrade is as good as I heard on a 300 As I have not heard a DR version of my NAP but I assess the risk of not being happy as low. ... I hope so as otherwise it is an expensive mistake!

I would be amazed if you are unhappy with the upgrade and service - unless of course Naim forget to put the burndies back in the boxes ![]()

Can the same be said for the 300 DR upgrade if you or anyone else has managed to hear it?
Waiting in anticipation for mine, all booked in but have been advised 300's will not be until late January or early february.
roll on next year ![]()

Is a NAP250DR now better than a NAP300?

I have owned a 250.2 and demoed and now own a 250 DR and confirm it is a considerable upgrade. I have also compared the 250DR to the 300DR at the recent Audiobarn demo listening to some new and some familiar tracks and again the improvement is considerable. Unfortunately I have never compared a 300 to a 300DR but from my above experience I would deduce that you will not be disappointed by the upgrade from 300 to 300DR.
I fully admit to being a little envious and would appreciate hearing your impressions when you (finally) upgrade to the 300DR. ![]()

Same thinking here....used 300 are out here, pay 6000-7000 and update later...
Hi Zeny,
I was surprised to notice this too, so I've just emailed Phil Harris to ask the same question, since the "DR" legend appears on the amp, rather than the power supply.
I know that the amp benefits from the new NA009 transistors, inherited from the Statement, but, like you was expecting the power supply to carry the DR logo.
Is the DR upgrade for the 250.2 available now ?

I listened to a 300DR as part of my active system but mixing the DR and non-DR versions sounded odd.
I should have 3 nice shiny new 300DRs arriving next Saturday. They are being made as a matched set at no extra cost and all six boxes will have consecutive serial numbers ![]()
...I place my order for the 250DR today:-)
Graham, happy for you, please let us have your report once you receive the amps.
Dave, please let me know what Phil says. Curious to know.
Dave, have received info from Naim that the 300PSU is the same in both the old and new versions.
Hi Zeny,
Phil Harris confirmed today that the innovations are confined to the amp, rather than the power supply. ![]()
Dave, probably as Richard Dane always says, the 250.2 and above already have discrete regulation.
