Some of the Naim Label albums are on vinyl: have a look at the website.

Marcobb - Do you mean vinyl records on the Naim label or new vinyl hardware products.  If the latter I should imagine no as the Company now seem fully committed to digital products.  I would think the phonostages will remain in production as will the Armegeddon PSU but I doubt there will be any new products.   There is of course much desire for the re-introduction of the Aro tonearm but a search of the Forum will show that to be very unlikely - shame it was a engineeering masterpiece.

Such a shame, a Naim turntable would be a massive hit

if i ever won a big lottery jackpot, i would donate some of the winnings to Naim Audio to make a record player and arm (perhaps recuscitate the ARO?).  Dream on ken...

enjoy

I think its fair to say Naim's involvement with Vinyl ended with the Aro, there will be no coming back!

PB,

Unfortunately I think you are right as progress marches ever on and left me happily behind on this one as I remain in my vinyl groove.

PB is right Naim's involvement with vinyl ended with the Aro.   But notwithstanding that the Aro was a work of art the Company's DNA is in their electronics so it's only natural that they should see rheir future in their excellent amps and digital components.  For those of us who have vinyl collections there are plenty of fantastic TTs and tonearms available which when partnered with the right cartridge and matched with a Naim phonostage will make wonderful music.

I agree

I don't really think it would be - it would be exorbitatantly expensive and only a handful would sell. If it really would be a massive hit, Naim would make it, but as a business proposition, I think not.

The Big Fish is right.   At best it would be like marmite - I guess like Naim speakers - and no I'm not in the category that all Naim speakers are rubbish but they do divide opinion.
