Vinyl Crackle and Pop

I've just bought three Joe Bonamassa vinyl recordings of his Tour de Force London concerts. Two play really well and the sound is great (leaving aside thoughts on the producer's approach to "live" concerts), but one has persistent crackles throughout, noticeable on quiet patches as well as between tracks.

As it is one out of three I would have said this was not a system issue but down to a bad pressing - all three are brand new, and have been cleaned using Spin Clean before playing, also with an anti static brush before playing.

I'm minded to send it back and hope for a better result with a replacement - but before I do, any thoughts on other issues?

Send it back and ask for a replacement.

Likely a bad pressing. Have you cleaned it on an RCM. If you have and it's still crackling then do as Strat says and send it back.

Thanks - it will be returned. Only cleaned on Spin Clean as I haven't access to a RCM. Thank you Sneaky SNAIC, I shall also try adding organic milk in future.
