Any Burnley fans out there? Great start, should be safe by Xmas. If this makes no sense, ever heard of Burnley?
Dave
I've heard of Burnley but UTC??? Who he?
steve
No clue what you're on about.

Dave
spot-on ! no sense whatsoever.
Although the "C" in UTC might stand for "Clarets", as in "Up the Clarets"
Rather like PUP
Useless team,clarets.
Useless team,clarets.
Ouch!

Don,
you our are indeed correct. Just wish I had a prize to offer. However, most of the time, "useless team Clarets" seems more appropriate.
Judging by the above, I guess, like Tigger, I'm the only one.

Sorry mate,couldn't resist.
I was of course only pulling your leg.Supporting Newcastle I shouldn't dare call any other team as we would be top of the useless league.

Scott,
the joys of supporting your local team. I sometimes wonder what it would be like if your team was any good and might win something now and again.
When Burnley got relegated from the Prem about 6 years ago, not the recent one, my son wanted to find a new team to support. We could not get much Championship footy on tv in Dubai at the time. I told him to find a northern team and one that would never win anything. After a few weeks he announced he would support Man City. Not that long afterwards, the money rolled in and he has been laughing ever since. My youngest is still a Burnley fan.
