Question for Administrator (Richard Dane)
Posted by: Romi on 09 November 2015
Are we allowed to post YouTube videos of music on this forum?
If the answer is yes what is the exact procedure? Do we have to use a HTLM code?
Thank you
Dear Romi,
In the Music Room at least, I believe links to youtube are completely acceptable.
What I do is copy the link to the youtube that I have chosen, and paste it as a single separate line, which if it is clicked opens the page showing the chosen film.
For example my recent thread about Miklos Perenyu playing Bach may be observed here:
https://forums.naimaudio.com/to...ix-bach-cello-suites
You will see the linked film as the last line of the post.
Some people manage a more sophisticated approach where the link appears as an image and you simply click on “play.” but I am not certain how to to do that.
Best wishes from George
Romi, it's Ok by me in the music room.
Use the insert/Edit embed Media button on the Post Reply box - it's the one that looks like a roll of cine film next to the emoticon button.

Dear George,
