The Dame is back!

Bowie unveiled the title track from his new album (out Jan 6th) this evening - and it's absolutely bloody terrific - particularly the middle bit.
Incredible!
Seems unlikely One Direction will do a cover version any time soon.
Not sure whether I *like* it, but no-one could accuse him of selling out to commercialism.
Rather puzzling, dark and gracefully weird. Unlike The Next Day, which never caught my attention, I am really looking forward to hearing the next installment and full album.
Excellent. Just hoping the rest of the album supposedly just 7 tracks is as good. Next Day was patchy at best. I loved Where are we now but was ultimately disappointed with the album as a whole.
However the single he released after that album was fantastic. Fingers crossed.
I'm an early-Bowie fan and have little interest from his Berlin Era onward. This track doesn't change that for me, but I hope its a great album for those that like his later stuff.
As somebody who really does not 'get' Bowie I surprised myself by watching/listening to that all the way through. I'm not sure I can imagine listening to it without the accompanying visuals but it has a certain fascination.
If this is the single the rest of the album may be really interesting!

Weird for the sake of it, and just a little pointless. He should retire gracefully on his back-catalogue.
BTW, I'm a BIG fan of his early years too.
I sometime do worry about his mental state on these songs.
But in public he does seem fine.

And I thought you meant that Elton John had a new album out!
which he does!
Just watched the whole video. WTF. The music was OK whilst watching the video but it was a little monotonous at times. The video itself was weird. I thought I was watching a charity video for the Epilepsy Society.
Bit odd in that Bowie way he does.
Just had a new listen and it does get better, but still 50/50.
His fans do seem rather messianic to his works :-)
I though you meant Adele had a new album out, does she?

Steve, you talk like that's a bad thing...
