Nac 52PS

Simple question - can a Nac-52PS be DR'd? Would it be worth (whatever) the expense would be compared to just saving for a used 552 for example?

No, the 52PS cannot be "DR"ed.

Slightly tangential i know but I have a most unusual 52PS! ... it was modified by Naim to work as a 'super' HiCap which i used with my prefix for many years (and it was hugely better than the olive HiCap it replaced) ... has sat in a cupboard for 5 years.

I had one of those too. They were done by Naim's service dept. mainly for Naim staff and used parts of defunct 52PS units left over after Supercap upgrades. As you say, very effective indeed on a Prefix...
