Naim Black Friday Deals?

Posted by: Graham Clarke on 26 November 2015

Wonder if we are going to see any this year?  What would everyone like to see?

90% off a Statement system?

95% off 14m of Super Lumina speaker cable?

Free mu-so with every set of Naim chips?

Out of the orders five are selected for a Christmas Carols via statement delivered by Paul....

Well the Statement is scheduled to appear at The Gramophone, Edmonton tomorrow. The large boxes had already appeared at the store on Monday when I was in. I have my dem booked for tomorrow and it's my birthday on Saturday.......I wonder if I should take the plunge :-)

Twenty quid for three little DR stickers? You've been done!

Timbo,

Wasn't it you who was investigating the S400s? What came of that? I can't find the thread now (and hate a dangling thread).

Why do I keep thinking about playing 'Katy Lied'?

John.

Probably for the same reason that I have a sudden impulse to play the Who's album, My Generation.

I'm looking for a new pre, power, power supplies, streamer, cdp, cables, support stand, dac, another dac, another cdp, an integrated, another cdp, about 160 CDs, 200 plastic cups, a small Yoda doll, some DJ mixing desks and a child's plastic flute.

I don't actually need any of this but the net tells me that prices are 10% lower than they were in October. Better move quick.

Tony, I do hope that's £20 for all three, not £20 each otherwise that would be shockingly expensive.

Is the shipping cost around £4180 each?

Yes Graham, but in Naim's defense they are awfully heavy.

Just snip a few wires and remove the toroidal power supply before posting.  Makes them MUCH lighter.

Glad to have helped Tony!  Maybe I should set myself up as a dealer.  Do you think Bodge IT & Co would be a suitable name?

You'll be a great success! Just get a comprehensive collection of hammers and big, rusty screwdrivers & you're good to go!

Screwdriver?  Nah, just bang 'em in with the hammer!  After all, if it's good enough for The Apprentice...

Got any DIY work needed doing on your lovely property?

Not me Chris. I'm a proud owner of SL2's. I see the S400's as a downward step, although I did consider the S600's for a while but thought they would not work very well in my basement. The Gramophone in Edmonton do have a fine pair of S400's that they would do you a deal on!!
