You guys are incredibly helpful - thanks for comments on recapping - as I set my system back up after opening the cases, I thought I would mess around with the placement of components. Earlier, I had all the half boxes in a stack. How does this look?

That's the 110 at lower left, HiCap at upper left, 32.5 in middle, a terrific Yamaha T-2 to right below a Rega DAC. Of course LP12 lower middle. Given those shelves, does that look the best? Seems like removing big power sources from sensitive instruments is the priority.
One limitation I have is that my NACA is at its length limit - the 110 needs to be somewhere on that lower shelf.
I know that the LP12 would ideally sit on its own wall mounted shelf, but it's fairly rigid maple veneer cabinetry with I'm guessing an MDF core.

I realize everyone has constraints but have to wonder, based on your pic, why you would not have the LP12 on top of the cabinet as opposed to the awkward floor level position down with all the dust bunnies. To me it makes no sense to get on your knees to cue up an LP when a viable, waist-level alternative is apparent. Plus it would get the LP12 outside the enclosure which ought to be better in limiting microphonic effects.

The photo is deceptive - it is a built in, and the top shelf isn't deep enough to fit the LP12, plus it is pretty high.
I store my records in some heavy Ikea MDF bookshelves - I could put the LP12 atop on of those - but I would need to fit a pretty long cable to the LP12, I'm not sure that's a good idea.
What do you guys think about component positioning with regard to avoiding electrical field impacts?

Also, if I move the LP12 to the Ikea shelves, it will sit opposite the speakers - isn't that going to result in some feedback/reprocessing of sound?

Brad,
Any way you can dismantle the shelf that now holds the HC and 32.5?
This would allow room to mount a wall shelf inside your cabinet to support your LP12.
The shelf could then be inverted below , on the "floor" of the cabinet, allowing the 32.5 and HC to sit on top and leave the 110 down below? I am assuming that the back of the cabinet is actually open and the true wall is what we see?

That's a great set of ideas. Unfortunately, this is actually a built in, and a fairly nice a robust one at that, and taking it apart isn't an option.
However, I'm intrigued by the notion of the platform off the back wall. The built in sits within a 2x4 fir framed enclosure, so I could probably could screw a wall mounted platform through the built in and into the framing (assuming the idea is trying to limit vibration etc. I do wonder a bit though how much would be acoustically gained by all this? I know it's not the most attractive, but there are slide out doors to the right and left and I can hide the whole thing, although something tells me one of you will say that those doors probably vibrate and are not good for the whole thing...
This is in our living room, and I am up against limited tolerance from my wife for monkeying significantly...

Otherwise, your placement to avoid transformer interference would be better if you switched the HC to the right and placed the 32.5 on the left. Minor change I would suspect because there is good separation of the boxes already, but easy to do anyway.
