App issues

so something strange is happening
my unitiqute has disappeared from the app and it can't be found by the app at all..,,
however it's showing up under Spotify connect and is available to play music through!

Any ideas?

I have deleted and reinstalled the app to no avail....

The qute is wired to the router....

It sounds like a networking issue.  I bet if you switch off your Unitiqute and your router, switch on your router, let your router finish restarting and then turn on your Unitiqute again, it will all come right.

I thought so too!

no joy though; I was able to add it manually but I prefer to maintain DHCP....

Scan your home network with an app like Net Analyzer (iPad).  The UQ should be advertising 'Bonjour' service otherwise the Naim app wont see it.  I was having similar problems, the app would see the UQ2 and then it wouldn't.  Turned out I had older firmware for the UQ2 and was advised to update to the latest by Naim support and this fixed that issue completely.

that's interesting Jota...

 

i havent updated the the firmware since the Spotify update version, but I see a newer version has been released....

 

will give that that a try and see how I get on.....

now if I can just find that cable....!!!!
