Relace N-Sat Base Unit

Hi

 

Can anybody tell me if how difficult it would be to a replace a base driver on one of my N-Sat speakers. Would I also be correct in saying you only have to replace the faulty unit and not both. Have to mention Im still very surprised the speaker is showing signs of being faulty  considering it has never been driven to anything above a very low level so is it possible something has come loose.

Advice again would be appreciated.

Mine went having not been driven very hard, just unlucky I guess. From memory I had to buy a pair and my dealer replaced the faulty one and I have a spare if the other one goes. 

Not sure how difficult a job it was but i took the opportunity to check out other small speakers - none were as good as my n stats. 

Maybe best to have a chat with your dealer

Talk to your dealer, I'm sure every case is different but I had an issue out of warranty that was fixed FOC by Naim as it was accepted by them that the (particular) fault was probably there since manufacture. 

My personal experience of Naim's fabled aftercare.
