Internet radio streamer

If I am perfectly happy with my current setup, what is the Naim product that will allow me to stream music to my system and get internet radio?   I like the Uniti, but I prefer our current CD5X-Nait XS-Flatcap XS setup to it, except for the radio and streaming.   What product is out there for me, now and down the road, to access internet radio and related media?

Hi,

I think that the UnitiQute and the NDX do the job (apart from the Uniti itself, of course), and the cheapest one is obviously the UnitiQute. Outside Naim, there's a relevant choice, beginning with the Squeezeboxes, to Arcam to the new Musical Fidelity M1 CLiC, and of course also the Linns, very sophisticated and accordingly expensive.

Regards,

Max

Take a look at the Sonore Music Server: http://www.sonore.us

Good review here.  Don't have one yet, but it will be the next upgrade to my system (exactly what you have, Skip.) About $2,000 - 2,500 depending on options.

They can integrate a high quality Lynx DAC in the audio card, or you can use a separate one. The open source VortexBox software it runs is very cool -  rips, streams, etc.

Not sure how it stacks up vs the NDX, but is the right mix of quality and price for me.

You can use the UnitiQute via the AV input (in AV bypass mode) which will give excellent quality.

Will the NDX do it?
