NDX Tuner?

Now that more and more people are enjoying their NDXs, I'd be interested to hear on reports of the FM tuner.. How does it compare with a standalone tuner? (assuming fed with a good external aerial).
Thanks for any comments....

The fm in ndx and in uniti, i heard people say it is not analog. People say it is digitized then dedigitized but the dac. Is that true? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of an analog source?

The NDX FM must have been converted to digital if the 'Digital Out' is used but if not, the signals should be analog.

I have not heard the NAT-01 tuner but my 15 year old Audiolab 8000T was no slouch! I bought a NDX to replace my ageing Audiolab and to provide wireless streaming. I must say that the FM tuner is excellent. The tuner locks easily to a station and provides a hash-free listening experience. The NDX is still breaking in but initial impressions suggest it is a worthy replacement!
