Fictional Prog Titles/Subjects

Posted by: GraemeH on 21 May 2011

After work drinks yesterday descended into what (seemed then) an amusing discussion regarding suitable subjects and titles for prog albums/songs.  Certain rules prevailed such as the subjects must be soulless.

The Building Regulations proved fertile ground with album titles like 'Part K' and songs about fire escape travel distances......you get the jist.  We avoided the trap of medieval hobgoblinery but no such restriction would be placed here.

Anyone?

The Next Train's Just Gone by I Don't Believe It's Not Focus from the album For Those Who Like Their Trade Rough

At a recent gig after a 2 hour guitar and lute solo, a member of the audience shouted “You must be knackered, man?” To which he replied: “No, I’m Jan Akkerman”.
