N-serve, n-stream question

Posted by: Jlaz on 23 May 2011

I have recently bought an ndx and uniti serve ssd for my system and I promise to offer a review soon-- the ndx is less than a week old.  But I do have an issue I am trying to solve with the iPad software.

I am trying to figure out how to save a playlist-- ie a randomly generated playlist from the n-serve software-- on a Mac-- as a playlist that I can play in my n-stream.  I create the playlist and it's called current playlist but it's not available in my n-stream.  Any thoughts?

My thoughts.....Naim need to spend some quality time with these apps and make them a "little" more user friendly. They need to match the quality of the products they are producing, and currently they do not.

Yep that is my view - the hardware is 10 of of 10 . The software (and by that I mean) embedded system software/firmware plus user app software is clunky, not user friendly, lacking in features, poor quality and needs much more development/refinement to match the hardware.

I agree with previous Posts.  The hardware is amazing, the software needs work. They should learn from apple in regard to usability.  Sonos took that lesson and ran with it. Of course the ndx and u serve is outstanding hardware.

Weiss are about to introduce their own server and almost every other high end manufacturer has a product in the pipeline - Naim are risking their advantage - come on guys.
