It's that time of year again, so welcome to System Pics 2016. Let's hope it's a happy and healthy year for everyone.
Here's are a couple of pictures of my stuff to get us started: with the exception of a Powerline everything is changed since this time last year, even the carpet and paintwork.
Wow!!! If it sounds as good as it looks you must be in audio nirvana.
Is that some custom Isoblue under the TV?
Glad to see a nod to 'Graceland' in there as well

Thank you for the compliment, I does indeed sound amazing, at some stage i need to get a rug under the coffee table which will dampen things, but for now it's not a priority. I did have the A/V shelves made up the match the audio rack(don't tell isoblue) it's very practical for all the messy A/V gear. As for the records, sadly I'm not using the TT a lot as the NDS sounds so good.

Very artfully done Tony!
Was this taken with a film camera? If so, what speed film? If not, how did you get the grainy look that can be so cool in B&W photography?
Hi Mark, just done in Lightroom, converted to b&w & heavy grain added.

Not long ago I missed out on some fraimlite at a real bargain price on ebay. So I decided to forget about racks for a while and make the best of the Ikea corras I already had.
Got hold of a 'donor' corras, took the shelf and base off it, added some spikes, and voilà! It's only humble, but I think it looks nice and sounds great.

Dave,
I think I bagged that (black) Fraimlite, I'd guessed the really stupidly cheap set was because there was no naim logo on the photo of the base unit but it duly arrived with logo plate. If it's any consolation your solution looks great..

If it was not long before Christmas, then yeah, it could have been the same ones. Thing is, there were three available that I could see, two of which did have the logo, one of which went for under £300(!). Seems you lucked out even more, haha! I was out of the country at the time, and my GF who was bidding for me fluffed up the bid, otherwise I'd have got one of them. Not her fault, she's just not all that used to ebay.
Never mind, at least they went to good homes, I'm sure. Hope you're happy with the one you got - how have you found it, any noticeable changes? And cheers, that is some small consolation

Not much different for 2016 although this year may see a change of speakers. A Melco N1A has replaced my Mac as the main source. I'm still not completely Naimless - i've got Fraim Chips under all my spikes

Yep it was the same ones - I 'won' 2 sets as I needed 5 shelves so bagged the £155! set and the one for just over £300. I've now got a spare base but if I can get 1 more shelf I'll make 2 stacks and replace the TV stand. I cant say I noticed that much difference, maybe a bit smoother sound and less edge (I was using a 20year old soundstyle rack with glass shelves before). TBH I bought just as much for aesthetics and certainly looks much better now. Ought to post some pics but my living room and photography skills will be put to shame here!

It's true that some here have really lovely rooms, and that's a large part of the pleasure of seeing the photos. But I think there's a place for the rest of us, too - why do you think I only posted a close up of the system!?

Stunning looking system! My dealer was only saying yesterday how good he thinks your Neats are with Naim kit. I take it you love them? I'm looking to upgrade my motive 1's with a 250DR on the way too...

Very nice James.
Just had a demo of Melco delivering to Sopra 2, it does appear to be popular with major HiFi Companies, this dealer mentioned out of 24 Companies 20 had a Melco. Not quite the right thread but any thoughts to add would be great.
