It's that time of year again, so welcome to System Pics 2016. Let's hope it's a happy and healthy year for everyone.
Here's are a couple of pictures of my stuff to get us started: with the exception of a Powerline everything is changed since this time last year, even the carpet and paintwork.
You both have mighty impressive systems. Brilliant.

I'm pretty sure the acoustics would work much better in the other direction,
I'm pretty sure they wouldn't. It' something I've tried a number of times, and it's my single certainty in audio: speakers work usually better on the longer wall across the shorter one. But it's a matter of taste, anyway. The room looks nice and functional: why spoil it?

Ciao Mark, quando vieni a Milano? Our guest room is cozy and renovated, and there's a nice vintage vinyl system waiting...

All the struggle to find a rega TT perfectly matching the maple finish of the Fraim, and then you spoil it all with the red display of that eerie CDP...
(Mine is only envy: gorgeous system and beautiful pics, I don't know which I envy more..)

I had re-arranged and placed the NAP155xs at the corner, away from the main rack due to the speaker cable is only 4m length. Better cabling and managed to ensure the interconnects not touching the power cable. Better sounding anyway...

SuperNait 1 with CD5italic, NAT05 FM tuner, Sonos connect for Spotify, Fraimlite and Allaes.
Update: Sold the LP12, Stageline, Flatcap, Custum Design WMB1, small Fraimlite, Okki Nokki RCM, and all other vinyl related products as well as my lp collection. Totally happy and pure serenity with my digital gear/FM.

In my room its the same, across the short section has its challenges but across the short length give my room the best balance. Firing down the long length gives way too much bass when seated near the back wall, I calculated the standing wave modes & its a double corner hit, its OK with the listening position moved 1.5m to 2m into the room but that doesn't do much for WAF.

same here, short length give best balance, along the long length bass is boom boom boom. But practically the set up shown in the picture is best.

My first post for some time prompted by the arrival of my destination speakers
View from the door to listening heaven :-P
View from the listening seat :-)
They took the scenic route from Naim HQ to their spiritual home, but they were well loved by John and Gary on the way. Thanks to you both,
Paul.

I like the look of that, Paul. Very nice. Symmetry between speakers and hanging pictures, too.

Thanks Mike. After I posted, I've centred the pictures above the speakers, not that I have tendencies or anything

Thge Little Dot is proving absolutely delightful, Subtle, and totally engrossing in effect. Not expensive enough for what it brings. Very gratifying!
And uses less power than your average DAC!
Best wishes from George

Changed the configuration a few months back but wasn't happy with the way it sounded. This set up has been in place for over a month now and is absolutely rocking! Now just waiting for the 300 to be called up for its DR conversion, followed by the upgrade to SL speaker cables in the summer and that should be it - the end of a 25 year journey......until the next time!
Cheers,
Ian
Looking good Ian. Glad to hear that she's rocking and rolling. You have some tasty treats coming north by the sound of it.
No point me posting a picture. My system has lost something visually, following a recent rebuild - the Naim fairy dust.
Enjoy.
John.

Thanks Max. It was pure luck that a used Maple finished P9 came my way - honestly!
I've got a spare plinth that was originally in Beech, that i've now sprayed Black so i'm experimenting with the idea of trying that in place of the Maple for a bit of fun.

Hi Rackkit,
Why did you go for the Rega CDP rather than one of Naim's to go with the rest of your system?

I think it's because this gives great symmetry! Just look: 2 regas, 4 naims, 2 regas.

Hi Fred. I started with a CDX2/XPS2/Hi-Line before but had a demo of the Rega and from the first few notes, i knew there was no going back. The CDX2/XPS2 was very good but the Isis is on a different level. The Naim had great drive & rhythm but the Rega really digs out the textures of instruments better while still doing the rest. I also gained a shelf with the Rega being a one box unit!
It also has a USB DAC input that i use to hook up to a Mac Mini for internet radio or downloaded files (only up to 16/44 though). I recently upgraded the stock IC (Rega's Couple) for some Mavros Atlas and that's really opened up things another notch. Just wish i'd done that sooner!
