Yes, speaker cable and speaker links are Chord Sarum. To my ears ist sounds superb.

Don't do it (yet) Adam. I am constantly amazed at what the GX300s continue to deliver. Repeat after me...'NDS first then speakers'.

Those black Sopra 2s do look gorgeous though and from dealer demos I know they sound terrific too. No I mustn't, I need to get a 555DR for the NDS first. Don't I? I can feel myself weakening and am off to get myself a lottery ticket.

Can I suggest, get the 555dr and the sopra'2s, good luck with that lottery ticket

One a positive note: my wife just stopped me from home demoing of Ovators S-600 (the last pair in Poland...). She asked two questions: 1. Am I completely crazy? I had to answer Yes, but no, but yes....2. Do they come in Piano Black? I had to answer: No, but... No...

2. My wife likes the sopras , black was a key factor

I did some initial tests on my wife and the comment on Sopras was 'nice, very nice'

The sopras are a class act, I suggest you treat yourself, you certainly will not be disappointed

Yes, that's what I thought! My plan was to have as close a match as possible between the speaker finishes and the racks. They both have a very high WAF.
