Upgrade

i have a NDX and want upgrade I'm very pleased with the NDX but should I buy the 555PS or buy the NDS. I look forward to your comments

Either way, you might as well start with a 555PS (or XPS) as you'll need it for the NDS to work at all.

It will perform best with the 555PS but any PS will work from XP5 XS, XPS, 555 PS. They are all compatible. The NDS has insight, poise and subtlety that should be heard to be believed. It's a special player. But will it be what you seek? Why do you want to upgrade your NDX?

My sysytem

NDX NAC252, XPS, NAP300PS, NAP300, SUPERCAP, AND OVATOR 400 speakers

the sound is good I have seen a second hand 555ps and a NDS can only afford one what one would upgrade my system

Either. If you already have the XPS to go with your NDX I would go NDS. But that's based on my personal experience. I have no idea how it would sound to you. Your question can only be answered by you in the final analysis.

I would take the NDS and make the leap to the next level. No brainer since you already have the XPS.
