stream to an airport express

I'm buying an AirPort Express to stream some xmas songs from an ipad to a naim uniti.In the apple faq I see that an airportexpress can join a third-party network in wireless client mode (802.11n) or connecting it via Ethernet (100mbs) to a LAN port on the non-Apple wireless access point. Which kind of connection to Choose? Wireless at 300mbps (theorically) or wired at 100mbps (theorically) ?

Agree - otherwise you may get drop outs depending on your wireless. Of course, if you'd rather not run wires, I find that wireless is fine most of the time from an iPad to an Airport Express then optical into my SuperUniti.

Also note that airport express will not stream above 16/44 so I only use it for convenience vs. quality for my tastes, however there is also a nice write up here:
