Which components to leave switch on 24/7?

Hi, after some hours of cleanup, rearranging, cable dressing I fired up my Naim gear again and as I expected from earlier experience the Supernait 2 sounds not really good. I know it will be better after some hours and then again after a few days.

I was wondering which of my other components that are HDX and nDac and the HCDR on the Supernait to always leave one? I would think that powering down HDX and nDac should not compromise sound after a start up the next day, would it?

Best,

Chris

This question must have been raised hundreds if not thousands of times. The answer it always the same: leave it all switched on, other than if you are going away for a while or a thunderstorm is forecast.

As previous reply people keep asking this but from the year dot it has always been advisable to leave all Naim kit switched on apart from holidays and thunder storms, my set up has only been switched off half a dozen times or so in over twenty years has never missed a beat the difference when switching back on after a holiday or break is unbelievable.

As strange as it sounds leave it on always. Some of us live and breed the occasional three monthly switch off.

As per the instructions leave it switched on.

Leave all on but do a power off and on every 3 months.
