I was hoping for something more tbh. Suppose it has a use for some users.

That's a neat thing.

I guess it's aimed at folk who are after an all in one but don't have the space for the full width Mu-so.

Suspected it would be a mini Muso, but Qb is not quite the shape I was expecting.

Will be interested to see the dimensions to see if it will actually fit in the alotted space in my kitchen!

(as you say Rackit, the mu-so is too big for people with small houses like mine!)

Good move Naim. If it sounds nearly as good a the full-size version it'll sell in shedloads.

It's TINY!

Nice styling, but I can't see the point in this kind of device myself, but I'm sure Naim has spotted a market for it.

Nice one.

Looks like a great product. Can't wait to listen. Bravo Naim.

Now that is what I've been waiting for. Absolutely perfect for the kitchen. Let's hope it comes in at under £500. Well done Naim - it looks brilliant.

It's an all in one unit designed to fit into small spaces. I think that's the point...

My guess was pretty spot on then

There are two places I would have looked at using Muso, our kitchen and our office.  Unfortunately neither room really had the space.  Qb would fit into both of these.

Given the apparent popularity of Muso, I think this is a great move.  Although not high end hifi like their separates, remember that profit from these items may well fund the other stuff and other activities like accelerating software development.

Struggling to find anything negative at this point!

Bedroom - done! To paraphrase the Who!

"Cause she's playing all night
And the music's all right
Mama's got a Muso box
Daddy never sleeps at night"

Looks like a home run to me and will offer a nice step up from SONOS.

One question- in this day and age why only b/g WiFi?  No n?  Or even ac?  I can live without ac however no n really seems like a short sighted approach- especially when streaming large FLAC files. Bizarre as b/g really is last year (or last decade) wifi technology

and another £500 for the powerline

It looks good, I may have to find a reason to buy one!

Its not so much the speed but the reliability (and distance) of connection as well - especially in our proper built brick houses...  n would have been very useful in this regard (IMO).

Agreed on that too.

Naim- maybe not too late to budget the extra 5 quid and build in better WiFi?

Sonos play 5 is cheaper £425 and looks better to me.
