Grado SR325e

I got some of these headphones for listening in my home office. They're awesome! I thought it worth making the recommendation because they're the closest 'phones I've heard to the 'Naim sound' - that sense of getting to the heart of the music. They're hand-made by a family business in Brooklyn, and that appeals to me more than some big corporation.

Their balanced nature also reminds me also of ATC speakers, which is odd, because the ATCs are unusual for being a closed-box design and the Grados are unusual for being an open-backed design (which makes them unsuitable for open plan offices or use on the move btw).

Around £270 in the UK.

I own the 225e and they're a great pair of headphones. Think the 325e were recommended by What HiFi, so I'm not surprised they're very good.

Enjoy!

SR325E

I've been using mine for about six months now, yes i quite agree, stunning cans for the money.

I tried lots of other cans at the Dealership and i decided on the Grado's as these were more to my taste.

I have found they can become uncomfortable after a couple of hours or so but it's only minor issue, the sound more than compensates for me.

I also like the tank like build and the cable seems of very high quality too.
