Chord Anthem (old black twisted model)

Does anyone have experience with the Chord Anthem interconnect? (old black twisted model)

I once tried the Anthem 2 and thought that the naim prat was totally missing compared to the Chorus 2 and even Cadenza 2 which was much better in my opinion.

...and also if any have experience with the Chord Signet interconnect. I have been offered an extremely good price on that.

Yes, the pretty black pleated Chord Anthem

years ago i used a DIN-DIN briefly [for a few months] between a CDI player and nac72 with hicap 135s & SBLs. It had the fairly typical effect of slightly sharper detail but less musical flow. I ended up preferring the stock lavender without question.

A couple of weeks ago, between CDS3 + 552, i swopped out my hi-line that i'd been using for a couple of years and went back to the lavender - only to find i prefer the hi-line : )

Which front end and pre-amp do you have?

"Only" the Nait XS. So maybe the signet and anthem would be overkill. But the chorus 2 works very good with Nait XS in my opinion.  But i'm generally a fan of chord interconnects and speaker cables.

Do you need a 2 x RCA - DIN type ?

Yes rca/din or rca/rca.

Quite a few years ago I bought several pairs of the RCA-RCA version, and found it quite satisfying.  Harmonically richer than, say, Chorus, but still pretty good PRAT (used with both Naim and non-Naim equipment).  The DIN-DIN version, however, was unsatisfactory.  Muddy and confused.  Maybe it was a bad sample.
