iRadio Stations
Posted by: jasons on 10 January 2016
Hi all,
On my MuSo, i have a few iRadio stations preset on my app, however a few of them will no longer 'tune'.
Going to the websites of the stations and they stream fine.
Anyone else have similar issues?
Cheers!
Good point!
Two that are gone at the mo, are...
Deep Mix Moscow Radio & DeepLink NYC - Soul.
Both buffer but don't quite make it to 100% and then comes up with Reconnect.
Deep Mix Moscow works fine for me, too. If the buffer was running out, you might just have a network issue.
Deep Link NYC doesn't seem to work at all on Naim, but it does through their own website. If this is a station you particularly want to listen to, it might be worth asking Naim to take up the issue with vTuner, they may be able to sort it out.
+1 Chris, I didn't go looking on the stations www. I expect that is the answer, but it does seem odd that vTuner have it listed - its a vTuner list that shows on Naim iRadio - but its not playing.
Thanks chaps,
Sorry Mike, probably should have warned about the content
Anyway, no network issues here as the Muso is connected via ethernet, and i can stream other stations without a glitch.
I have even tried them during the day when the house is empty, and the internet is quieter and still no joy.
Also, i seem to remember that both stations appeared to have stopped working at the same time (for me).
Well, still no joy, however, DeepLink NYC is now fully functioning, but i still can't connect to DeepMix Moscow Radio.
As said, connecting on my laptop is no problem.
Would it be worth deleting the Naim app and reinstalling?
I doubt it will solve the problem, but there's nothing to lose by trying. Except that you may lose any playlists you've created on the app.
