Audirvana , long mp3 will not play

Hi, wonder if anyone has seen this before.

I have the demo of Audirvana and quite like it so far from MM to NDAC. It's been told to index music folders on my QNAP NAS and finds some of my long DJ Mixes. These are around 500Mb mp3 and play for about 5.5 hours. well that's it they don't play.

Home network is gigabit ethernet and the same files play fine via a UPNP renderer I have on a blu ray box, controlled by plugplayer.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

Have you tried to forced syncing your folder in the NAS? And/or removing the folder and re syncing? (User manual p40 for v2.3)

Also look at the guidance in the User Manual for allocating RAM. More the better as long as there is about 2Gb left for Mac OS.

If this doesn't work, I'd suggest looking on the Computeaudiophile site where there is a good user community and direct connection with the developer (damien78).

ah ha found out that if I select the track on the mac mini via a remote login it plays. I was using the A+ remote app and the track will not trigger to play via that so it looks more like an app issue than the actual software.

Glad yo have it sorted. An update to the A+ remote app is in the works, as I understand, to improve Qobuz intergration, so may be this issue will be resolved.

It may be worth mentioning in the site I referred to.
