Signal ground

I have UQ2-Nap100 combo. It is only hardwired to Linksys switch. Nothing else is attached. Signal ground switch is at chassis now.

I decided to give some oomph to the sound of my new TV. I'll run a toslink optical i/c to UQ2. I know that there will not be physical alteration grounding wise. But still I wanted to ask whether chassis or floating is appropriate.

Thanks.

You've answered your own question Hal - no physical grounding changes so no need to move from chassis ground
