Naim CD5i

Hi, My CD5i has started to skip slightly towards the end of around 50% of my CDs. Anyone else experienced this and is there anything I can do about it? I now live in France so returning the player would be a expensive and Naim dealers over here are few and far between. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Just to bump this forward for a more informed response - I'd say that when you consider the service cost on entry-level Naim gear you approach its fair market value. A newer second hand replacement seems a viable option, or perhaps an upgrade? Tough to consider ditching faulty gear. Hopefully an easier fix can be found.
