XLR interconnects

At the moment my N272 is driving my power amp using RCA interconnects...

However my power amp also accepts XLR interconnects - so I was wondering if there would be any benefit in replacing the RCA interconnects and connecting the N272 to the power amp using a pair of 4-pin DIN to XLR cables? (I believe the cables I will need are the same cables that would be needed to connect a NAC252+Supercap to a NAP300).

I know that XLR connects tend to used with balanced connections (between pre-amp and Power amp or between source and pre-amp)..... I dont believe that NAIM devices are balanced devices, so I wonder if there is anything to be gained (for me at least) by making the swap from RAC to XLR....

I have just got a response from Naim support advising me to stick with my RCA connections - since my power-amps XLR input is a balanced input - it appears that I would not gain anything mixing a unbalanced source with balanced input...

Being new to the world of NAIM, I must say that I am most impressed with the NAIM support - they are both prompt and informed..... I am really impressed.....
