Streaming question

i have a very good Naim system and use Spotify I'm thinking of changing to Tidal what happens to all the music I have streamed from Spotify will loose it or will be able to play it if I don't have a Spotify account

Not sure. I understand the question. If Tidal has the media on its file systems you will be able to stream it....

If you're referring to Spotify tracks you've downloaded via the 'available offline' function, then they probably won't be available unless you maintain your premium Spotify membership.

IIRC Tidal has the same facility though.

I'm not sure I'd want to listen to Spotify on a 'very good' Naim system! Basically if you stop paying, the music is gone. But if Tidal has it, you can listen to it.

Confirmed - stop Spotify, music stops.

That is why I have cancelled my Spotify subscription - found it a waste of time and money.

They are all the same - Tidal, Spotify, Deezer etc. As soon as you cancel, you lose all your downloaded music, playlists, favourites etc.

There are a few services which can help transition from service to another. Typically you grant them temporary access to your old and new service, and they try and replicate your library and playlists.
