Naim CD 5i transport screws

Hi, I have recently purchased a Naim CD 5i player. Unfortunately it did not come with any transport screws / bolts. My question is, are they specially manufactured for Naim or are they a standard bolt that I can buy from my local hardware shop. If so does anyone know dimension/specification of the screw / bolt.

They are specific to the player. What you need is this (and not expensive at just over a couple of quid each);

Richard, many thanks for the information and prompt reply. I presume that they can be ordered direct from Naim, so i will contact them later today

Joe, Naim don't do direct sales of their equipment or parts. You should order through your dealer or via one of the retailers who offer such things via their web shop.

I'm not sure whether this is within rules to note - but when I had to ship my CD5i for repair, a normal bolt (the correct size, obviously) - worked fine. The official ones are no doubt better/safer of course.

Thanks Sam, I have just ordered 2 transport screws from tomtomaudioshop, they are only £1-78 each so won't break the bank and probably best to have the real thing.
