There's no pleasing some people ...

SWMBO kept whinging about her Windows laptop  being slow etc etc, although she only uses it for emails and surfing 'tinterweb.  So, as it was her birthday in January, I decided I would 'treat' her to a new laptop.

Took her into PC World, Burton-On-Trent (she had to SEE what she was going to get), and she decided on a 13" MacBook Pro, as it was on special offer and she liked the screen.   I thought it was grossly over-specified for her purposes, but said OK, as long as she realised that it didn't work quite the same as a Windows machine and she would have to learn how to use it.

After a couple of weeks of moaning about it 'not being the same' she seemed to have settled into using it quite happily.

Last night, she came and told me there was one thing she DIDN'T like about the MacBook.  I asked her what, and she said "my old laptop used to keep my legs nice and warm, but this one doesn't"

In the words of comedian Steven Wright; "Women.  Can't live with 'em...can't shoot 'em!"

Hmmm ... I'd have interpreted that as a suggestive euphemism and taken immediate action. Now if she brings it up again, hopefully you'll know what to do

No pleasing? The onus is on you!
