You shouldn't feel as stupid as your dealer. He's the one who should have known better. Enjoy your XPS.

I borrowed an XPS (non DR) when I installed my 272/250DR and ran it for a few weeks. When I decommissioned it I didn't feel the step down in SQ justified the price of the power supply. Yesterday I popped to my dealer (2 hour plus round trip) and watched one of the lads pack up the unit for me, clearly watching what he put in the box - evening thinking to myself - I don't need the power lead as I can use the one off my 272. Sadly it didn't occur to either of is that the box wouldn't be much use without the burndy!!

Of course, this didn't dawn on me until I opened up the box and attempted to install it back at home.

I'll get my hat and coat and pick up my P45 from accounts on my way out.....

Shame on you both, particularly your dealer since the XPS  comes with the Burndy as standard. 

Yes blame yourself for not buying the XPS DR. If you have done that, this (along with that round trip) wouldn't have happened! :-)

Very good point, I'll make that point to my wife in an attempt to get purchase sign off!!
