Price List 2016
Posted by: Chag... on 24 February 2016
One of my dealers has indicated that the next price list, and increase, are expected end of March. Do you have the same information?

Beginning of April has traditionally been when Naim has revised its RRP price list in the UK.
Can't you keep the prices till after the end of April so I can buy something nice at the old prices for my Birthday?
Should we expect the Ovators to be discontinued and dropped off the price list this year?
Or do we have one more round, one last chance? ![]()

Eloise, I'm afraid you overestimate my influence with the powers at Naim.
Chag, I haven't heard of any such thing. Then again, I haven't asked either...
With your vote on EU in June, something really interesting could happen to the international very high prices. I am sure that a vote to leave would make something good happen to the pound vs Euro exchange rate.
As UK inflation has been very low/zero for some time - (currently 0.1%) and global commodity prices have fallen considerably, perhaps Naim could do their bit to show that 'we're all in it together' and forgoe a price rise this year.
Edit: The recent fall in the value of Sterling particularly against the US Dollar should help too as I understand that Naim's overseas earnings are significant.
Don't hold your breath - I am sure the price bump will be in the same approximate range as always, especially with the new corporate overlords.

This should be in 'Best Jokes' thread.

I'd always assumed Naim's people costs were more significant than their raw materials costs.

Order around the end of March and it'll probably turn up around the end of April. ![]()
Has anybody seen it yet in the U.K.? Is it really going to be out Friday? How bad is it? ![]()

Can anybody tell me the current price of a Naim Fraim bearing cup in UK pounds or Australia dollars please? pre or post price rise. Anybody?
£18.48 incl. VAT each according to the TomTom website.
A European dealer has advised me of price rises from them on 1 May 2016, but it may be that the annual reset has always been a bit later in Europe than the UK
I tried to buy a CD5XS before prices are increased. I was told by a dealer that Naim have run out of transformers and I cannot have one until mid April.
Is this true?.
Staffy, there should be no problem ordering one now to beat any price increase - As far as I can recall (and provided nothing has changed in recent years) any orders received prior to a price rise are honoured at the price at the time of the order.
Thanks Richard. Is it correct Naim have run out of transformers for the CD5XS. You would think that when they were down to the last 10, they would have indented for a new batch to be ordered. Apparently they are made in Donegal, Ireland. Now I know why the little light on the front of Naim gear is green.

transformers made in Donegal, intriguing, anyone know where and whether it is just for the CD5XS?
Not traditionally a hot bed of electronics- Donegal.

Bizarrely they are £8.48 each including VAT on another website - and that was the price that I bought them at about 6 months ago
No idea Staffy - I don't work at the Naim factory.
Sloop, AFAIK almost all of Naim's transformers in the past 20+ years have been made by Nuvotem who are based in Donegal, Ireland.
