Is Nstream more stable on Ipad than Ipod?

Hi - for whats its worth I have not had a single problem running N-Stream on a first generation iPad.

It works very well on iPad 1 but even better on iPad 2. Tog

Thanks I tested my friends sonos and iphone app this weekend, it seemed more stable and a lot faster.

I have used PS Audio's E lyric and it really like it. It does all the stuff we would like the Nstream to do, but if it's not on screen or the iPad is in sleep mode the music stops working at the end of the current track. Is it just me? Is there a way round it?

+1 - the Sonus app/interface be superb - the SQ though be not as good as some ways of feeding music to a Naim DAC though, but it be possible to improve the Sonus.

Does the NDX not support "seek/ffd" within a track? Is this true for Naim CD players as well?

Hi, currently the nDX does not support seek, wish it did.. Perhaps it will come shortly, bit of a pain with very long tracks.
Naim CDPs do support seek.

Strange one that.

Does using N Stream on an Ipad actually offer any more functionality than using an Iphone? Or is it just simply a case of bigger display.

I use both and to be honest the iPhone version is often more convenient but it does drain the battery. The iPad allows the app to work more intuitively through fewer menu choices and shows off cover art quite well. It is not yet as well thought out as say Apple 's remote but with a fast and efficient UPnP server it is almost as quick. On the iPad 2 it runs very well and I kind of like it.
