Today it's my birthday, and Silvia has given me the Beatles in Mono box, which I have have been craving for for some time.
While I opened the box and enjoyed the package, the choice, the bonuses (and, not lastly, the apparently greater thickness of the CDs!) in very happy and strong anticipation, she was watching me with a little shadow in her eyes, like if worrying abot something. The she asked me:
- You wanted the mono box, didn't you?
- Of course! - I replied. I have read raving reviews, and I still remember the sound of the LPs in early 60s.
- But does it mean that it will be heard on just one loudspeaker?
While I assured her it was not so, she looked lovely, and I understood one more time why I love her.

I was lucky too this father's day, not music, but close to my heart, a hamper from the Real Ale society CAMRA. Highly recommended, and a lovely present. Thanks Sarah.

Massimo,
Congrats on your birthday and enjoy the great mono box set.
It was fathers day in England yesterday.
My daughter bought me this 3LP box set.
I am playing it now on her 26th birthday.
My oldest son bought me the new soon to be released second Dead Can Dance Ltd edition 4x 180g LP white box set.
My little man gave me his own designed/ made/painted and fired mug.
Well chuffed with my children this fathers day.

yeah for the special ones and the little ones. I remember the little parade of presents as a kid for dad and him later grilling steaks. Little ones probably just got hamburgers. Happy tho.
this year all I could do was call them because of bad health, tho both sisters showed up one after the other, Phew, for a moment we thought they'd both be in the same room after 25yrs.
