NAP250 connection to dj-mixer

Posted by: Tobias Fricker on 19 March 2016

Dear all,

I have a question.

actually I use NAC72, Hicap & NAP250.
connected with NAC72  is a DJ Set - mixer DJR400 and two phono Technics MK2 are connected with the mixer.

now I think about to skip the NAC72 and Hicap - I mean I like to connect the mixer DJR400 direct with NAP250.

the NAP 250 has a 3-pol connection.
The mixer has a chinch output.

is this working?

I can`t find the right cable to connect the mixer with the NAP250

would be nice if somebody can help me.

Tobias you would need an RCA to single stereo XLR interconnect. Be careful with level and also be prepared for it to sound better with the NAC72 in place.

That djr400 looks like a nice bit of kit.   Full rotary set are difficult to master - you must have the touch. Set your tones for 11 o'clock .

I tend to use my Ecler Nuo 2 with 135s with great result.
