Problem with Stageline Connected to NAC282 + NAPSC + 2 x Hi Cap + NAP250

Posted by: endlessnessism on 09 April 2016

I have recently upgraded from a Nait XS + Hi Cap to a NAC282 + NAPSC + Hi Cap + NAP250.

All has been good for a few weeks now but so far I have only been using digital sources via a DAC.

This morning I decided to crank up my LP12.  With the Nait XS + Hi Cap, I had the LP12 connected via Stageline into "Aux2 In & Power" and all was good. Now, however, with the Stageline connected to "Aux2 In & Power" on the NAC282, I am getting a signal from the LP12 but the volume is very very low,

The light on the Stageline is showing so it is powered-up OK.

Any suggestions for what might be wrong?  Have I made a mistake in assuming that Stageline is compatible with the upgraded system?

Stageline with 282 perfectly compatible - well mine was.

Sorry for stating the obvious but worth checking the phonos into the stageline.

Regards,

Lindsay

Can the two different Aux2s be independently selected with the remote? Is it possible that the non powered Aux2 is selected? Clutching at straws....

Aux2 can be mapped to the phono ports on the rear if 282. Check your manual. This may be your ussue.

Hold prog key to enter program mode then toggle the 6 key to select/deselect phono socket for Aux2.

Had reverse problem when my 282 came back from its recent service.

Excuse typos....hate iPhone keyboard
