I am controlling my UnitiQute with the current Android app running on a Nexus 7. My music is stored on a QNAP NAS with QNAP Asset as server.
Sometimes after finishing playing the queue and selecting return, the app jumps directly back to the selector screen, where selecting UPNP results in a message: "Another app connected - disconnect the client and either select OK or try again." There is no other app connected and try again returns the app to the queue, and returning a second time steps back through the search tree as I think it should..
Not a critical issue, but annoying all the same. I wonder if others have experience the same thing? Perhaps it is a bug in the Android app?

Good to know it is not only me! Are you using an Android or iOS device?
I wonder if a tablet always disconnects from the WiFi at the end of a track and if the delay reconnecting depends on the tablet hardware or the app? Would switching from the Nexus 7 to an iPad solve the problem?

I vaguely remember something like this from a while back in beta testing, I can't remember the exact detail but whatever it was my solution was to stop the iOS going to sleep when the cover was closed, the screen goes off but the OS stays working. I might be off beam but maybe worth an experiment.

I have the "stay connected" box in settings checked which I hope would address the issue of the losing connection when the lid is closed. I will try leaving the cover open, aan see if that has an effect. The problem is that his is an intermittent problem, which makes difficult to replicate.

I too have the stay connected checked, thats just for the app, it won't help if the Android OS goes to sleep or locks (disconnects). The problem I had is that iPad's will go to lock with a Smart Cover (magnetic snap cover). I've set mine to Auto-Lock = Never, this means the auto-lock is primed but will never work, I've kept the Lock/Unlock feature ON as that turns the screen off when the cover is closed & gives some battery savings.
The question for you is how/can/if that work with an Android??? I haven't a clue as I don't have one, but like I said it might be worth an experiment along those lines.
