Converting a 72 to a 32.5

I want to hear what a 32.5 sounds like. I have a 72. Can I accomplish this by simply swapping the the 729s for 324s?. Or is there more differences? Thanks.

Yes, there are more differences, so even with NA324 boards fitted you won't really be hearing a NAC32.5.  That's not even considering age, sample variations, board types etc... Close, but no cigar...

The only way to hear what a 32.5 sounds like is to get hold of one. I wouldn't bother though. Years ago I swapped from a 32.5 to a 72 and was hard pressed to hear a difference. I'd just stick with the 72 and be happy, and certainly wouldn't start fiddling about with it - it would be neither fish nor fowl.
