Richard Johnson is Champion Jockey ... at last ...

My cousin [once removed], Richard Johnson is champion Jockey at the end of his career trailing by one AP McCoy for more than a  decade.

In normal times, without the super-talent McCoy, he would have dominated horse-racing, but every half century a real genius appears. However McCoy retired in just enough time to allow my cousin his moment in the spot-light. I might even think that AP retired with charity to allow his old rival to celebrate his own slightly lesser talent.
