nd5xs/nac202 automation

Hello,

I need some info about nd5xs/nac202 automation, maybe its a stupid question but i dont get it.

From nd5xs manual:

"With System Automation enabled and an NDX/5XS Remote Out socket connected to the Remote In ( CONTROL ) socket of a Naim preamplifier , the NDX/5XS handset and n-Stream App can provide system-wide control."

I have phono 3,5 mm to rca cable, from nd5xs Control/remote out 1 to remote in / CONTROL inputs nac 202..

to nac 202 control

Is this correct or do i need to do something else? Thanks in advance.

It goes to 'RC5 in', in the 'Control' block

Enable 'Preamp' control in the ND5's 'System Automation' menu.

Assuming you're using the app on a phone or tablet to control the ND5, you'll need to enable the volume control in it's settings menu.

There is a document on the Naim's website describing how to set this up.

With the system automation, you can control the inputs, rename them, etc.
