Group playlists disappeared Synology Audio Station

Posted by: pixies on 27 April 2016

OK Mike-B, here’s another one for you.

I appear to have lost all of my group playlists that have been created in Synology Audio station. When I go to Audio Station I can only see my personal playlists, but it is my group playlists that I was able to play via Media Server and Minimserver (which I have now got working again!).  The strange thing is that the playlists still appear within these two UPnP music servers. So in summary, I can still stream the playlists but cannot access them to edit or add to them.

Is this another DSM 6 gremlin or have I accidently ticked a box making them invisible?

..........  err  sorry Pixies, no can help this time as I don't use Audio Station.       I see the same problem is posted on Synology Forum,  I don't see any solutions.

Have you checked through all the privileges & links ????    Have you tried making a new list within the new DSM-6 software to see if that works (or not)  Just enough to use as a test so you can see if its editable etc as it was with DSM-5.     Then if that works, can you copy/paste over the old list ???  if not,  it might mean rolling up your sleeves.

OK thanks Mike. I will try your suggestions. I have them all backed up so can always duplicate them as a last resort.

Pixies,   have you tried rebooting the NAS,  sorry but if you haven't already it might be worth a try
