Coachella 2016

A real blockbuster of a line up. Could be North America's biggest concert event since Woodstock (47 years ago), except that the headliners are all over age 70. At $400 dollars for the weekend pass, the ticket prices are not unreasonable, although I suspect that cost is merely the tip of the iceberg involved in the three day soirĂ©e.

That's very interesting and some lineup Randy, who'd have thought forty years ago that the likes of The 'Stones, The Who, Dylan and so on would end up playing at a polo club?! As you say the $400 is probably just an just enticement, if not then it would be extremely good value.

Wow now this looks like an old man's festival!

We are thinking about going to Berlin for the first EU Coachella in September. But local line-up is soooo different... Mostly going there for Radiohead. But now I'm listenning to the new album on headphones and wondering if this music would make any sense in a festival setting.
