I'm sorry if this has been covered many times before but>>.
I have a uniti and a buffalo link station.
I've transfered flac files to the buffalo and they play fine, however I can't see all the artwork on the Nstream app.
I've tried folder.jpg and cover .jpg,I've uploaded mp3id software and attached coverart to each individual track file
Some of them work and some don't, I can't see what the ones that work have different to the ones that don't.
I've deleted the cache as well.
Does anyone know what the folder needs to show artwork on the nstream app.
Thanks in advance

Hi Steve
I don’t use the app but when I have had this problem with CP programs it has been a case of the artwork files that won’t show have been too large. I found that on one file it was nearly 10Gb, which is silly. If you check a non-showing file size with others you may just need to re-size the file. After re-sizing if the artwork is embedded remove old then embed the new.

Hi Steveb4 -
Do you have a PC that you could install Asset on? Alternatively, do you have any other renderer (e.g., an AVR) that could try accessing your Linkstation?
Is it possible that the Linkstation only supports embedded artwork?
My thought is that if N-Stream starts working with Asset, or if your alternative renderer also has similar issues, it would at least help you to focus on the Linkstation's UPnP setup. Have you tried simply restarting the UPnP service, or perhaps the entire NAS box?
Good luck.

Hi Thanks
I tried Twonley and Asset, I had the same problems and didn't really see the benefit of them.
At the moment I just drag and drop on to the linkstation and apart from the fact most of the artwork is missing it seems to work well.
last night I found 3 albums with no artwork, I added the artwork to both emptied the cache and one worked and two didnt.
That makes me think its the actual file thats at fault not the nas or the software.

I was having a problem with cover art, in the end I bought a program called muv under cover. Superb program that is easy to use and works a treat. I think it was either £10 or $10 can't remember.

I had this issue as well using Twonky on my QNAP NAS.
What has sorted it for me was using Mp3Tag in english version. With that program I inserted the covers into all the files. After that I cut all the Tags and re-inserted them into the files. After that it worked for all.
I say in english version, because somehow when I was using a german installation of Mp3Tag there were some that didn't work as well. Since I use the english installation of the latest version, I had no more issure so far.
