thats it
Go into 272's Settings menu and enable the Line Out - it's within the Analogue Outputs section. This assumes you have an RCA Headline. Don't believe that there's a Line Out via the DIN Analogue I/P 1 from memory, so you may well have a challenge ahead with a DIN Headline.

Just checked 272 manual - no line out from DIN socket on Analogue I/P1, only via RCA Line Out connections.
Guessing you're not using the 272's internal headphone amp?

It would be helpful if the question was explained properly, including what the OP has done so far - how it's connected and so on. We don't even know if they have a power supply. If people cannot be bothered to ask a coherent question it's far less likely that they will engage people in helping them.

You just did, albeit in a pretentious manner.
N272 has a headphone pre-amp already. Adding a headline would result in some redundancy.
Also not clear what type of captive lead is used. If DIN there is 2 types. The standard takes a feed from the tape loop which is different pins than for line out.
Are we talking RCA, DIN line out, or DIN loop?
And ditto for the power supply query.
That said, a HeadLine (that works) should be appreciably better than a 272's onboard amp. How much better really depends on the power supply though. I probably also would not bother. If I had a 272 I'd resent needing 2 additional boxes for the headphone amp.
Hello thanks for the reply ! The problem is solve i dint activate the output
There are only two possible terminations to the captive lead on a Headline2; the standard 180 degree DIN5 plug (connects to the REC out pins of the input /output on a suitable Naim pre-amp or integrated), or a pair of RCA Phono plugs for any pre-amp or integrated that doesn't have a tape loop on a DIN socket. If you have one or other and need to change then you should speak to your Naim dealer to have the Headline reterminated at Naim. Note that a Din plug terminated Headline cannot be directly connected to a source - you need a Headline adaptor which switches signal route to the PLAY pins.
Thank you very much Richard ! The problem is solve i have an orca adapter that i have plus in the output .
Last night i forgot that i have to switch the output.
@Richard, Thanks for clarifying that. It's been 20 years since I sold a HL and I remember requesting something non standard for the customer from Naim who wanted to use it direct with their CDI - in my head the memory became a line out DIN5.
How do you rate headline vs 272 headphone amp?
Hello EMRE I have a set of Shure SRH 1840 and everything is better at low volume ![]()
Glad you've got it sorted!!!
