NDAC age - Firmware only difference ?

Is the only difference with the nDAC the firmware, seeing as it's been around for a while? I have the possibility of getting an nDAC second hand at a good price which is updated to the latest firmware. But is that really all ? Other changes that have occurred over the years that would point to a later model ?

As far as I know the only update to the nDAC has been the (free) firmware update.
