System Automation 252 to NDX

Hi,

Just picked up my new 252 & Supercap DR today but can't figure how system automation works with my NDX, I want to be able to adjust the volume via the n-stream app and there isn't a remote jack plug socket on the 252 to connect to the NDX remote jack socket. I know it's possible, when I demo'd at the dealers I used n-stream to adjust volume of the 252

It's probably very simple but I can't figure it this evening.

I think you need a lead from the remote out on the NDX to RC5 in on the 252 I have a new 252 and Supercap being installed on Wednesday this will be used with my NDX the dealer is supplying the lead for this and will set up the system for this function.

You need a 3.5mm minijack to RCA cable, this connects between NDX "RC5 out" (3.5mm minijack) to 252 "RC5 in" (RCA)

Then set up the NDX system automation using the NDX remote on the NDX display screen per the manual Section 4.9 - System Automation Menu

Caution: be careful which input of 252 the streaming audio is directed to - default is AUX.

Can I do this with my NDX and Nac 52?

I have a NDX running into a 82 and this is not possible pretty sure the 52 is the same as they don't have a remote socket which allows this feature.

I wonder if a IR repeater would work ?
