Summer time blues...

Sitting here on holidays, cut off from all music, except for some greek rebetiko, on a mono-radio...
How does one survive for so long without music from a beloved NAIM box....???
Maybe Naim could develop an iPod beater!
Adam , I stripped out my old system last Saturday awaiting the delivery and installation of my new system in the week you don'tr realise how much you listen to music on a day to day basis.
Ears much better since the new system was switched on late Wednesday afternoon.

That woudl be cool.
But... We would immediately start upgrading it with external PSUs, demand a portable FRAIM, compare alternative batteries having an argument which one is truer to the NAIM sound....

A classic set up 252 with 250 I miss mine....
I spend around 50% of my life away from home, and used this fact to justify splashing out on a Sony NW-ZX2 Walkman and Shure SE842 earphones. (Thanks again to Bert Schurink for highlighting this excellent portable setup.) Thanks to this excellent setup, I no longer feel deprived of quality sounds when away from my Naim gear.

We are just back from Greece, Zante actually. I can recall only once playing Radio Paradise on the iPhone, all other times the beach/pool plus a Mythos or several and some local village red seem to have diverted us.
Our hotelier had some half decent playlists in the bar area, and I don't think we heard Zorba at all.

Sitting in Zagora, on the slopes of Mount Pelion - a wonderfully green and fresh area with excellent beaches.
